In this course, I wanted to take the act of worrying and think of it a little differently. We will take a look at what worry can look like and how it affects our patterns of behaviour. But instead of looking at ways we can remove it or replace it with more positive thinking, I will be addressing the very vehicle that worry or any other emotion comes in on, and that is thought.


Meet your Teacher

Kiran is an artist, writer and creative mentor working under the name of Illustrating Rain. Both through her art and writing she investigates the relationship between the inner and outer worlds. She is inspired by the connection between the patterns and cycles found in nature and within the human mind. She is the author of the book The Creative Unlearning which has an accompanying podcast.

If we were to take a closer look at all the ways we worry and about what areas we specifically worry about it might take us by surprise. When we live in a world of all consuming thought that is filtered through a lens of all the possible ways that things could go wrong then we can forget that this is not what is really happening in front of us in our real lives.

What Lies Beyond Thought?

It is in releasing our attachment to any one particular thought, being aware of the nature of thought, that we are free to expand and be a space where new ideas and insights can come through us. Not the usual thoughts that are conditioned by society, familie,s and structures, but thoughts and ideas that we have not had before, inspirations that we had not previously considered.
