Welcome.
Find a comfortable position.
Sit in an upright posture with your chin tucked in toward the chest,
Shoulders rolled back slightly.
And when you are ready,
Close your eyes.
Now I invite you to go ahead and take a couple of deep,
Relaxing breaths.
And with each inhale,
Allow the airflow to begin to energize your body.
Inhale deep into your lungs,
Feeling your belly expand,
And exhale everything out fully.
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
Allow your breaths to be slow,
Deep,
And calm.
Each breath you take brings in the fresh air that your body needs to begin your day.
Allow your breaths to fill you with energy and release any fatigue you may be feeling.
So continue to focus on your breath for a few more moments.
Right now,
It does not matter what tasks you have today.
It does not matter what you have put on your to-do list.
Don't think about your responsibilities.
All you need to think about is breathing in,
And breathing out.
Breathing in new,
Refreshing energy,
And breathing out all tension and fatigue.
Breathing in,
Positive thoughts,
And breathing out,
Releasing any negative feelings.
And now,
I want you to gently squeeze your hands into fists.
And as you do this,
Feel the muscles in your arms and shoulders strengthen.
Feel how the strength and energy begin to flow through your body.
Squeeze gently and release the tension.
Relax your muscles completely.
Feel how good it feels to let the tension go.
And as your body begins to awaken,
Feel how warm and energetic you are starting to feel.
You can try opening and closing your hands a few times.
Feeling your body waking up to the day.
Prepare to tackle anything that comes your way today,
Knowing that you will accomplish everything you need to get done with total ease.
And allow yourself to be excited for the day,
Ready for anything that can happen.
Preparing yourself for all the possibilities that are out there for you.
And feel this positive feeling flowing through your body,
This hope enlivening your body.
Now,
Allow yourself a few gentle stretches to get your muscles going.
Go ahead and place your fingertips together and gently stretch your arms above your head.
Gently reach for the ceiling and feel a soft pull down your shoulders and into the sides of your body.
Lean to side to side gently.
Feel your muscles begin to warm up.
And when you are ready,
Lower your arms back down,
Feeling very comfortable.
And now,
Bring your focus to your toes.
Begin to wiggle your feet a little.
As you flex your feet,
Feel the muscles in your legs enjoy this gentle stretch.
So go ahead and spend some time waking up your legs.
Allowing them to wake up and become energized for the day ahead.
Now,
Rest your feet still and enjoy the sensation of energy tingling through your toes,
Flowing into your ankles and all the way up your legs.
Allow these sensations to wash over your entire body.
Take a deep breath in.
And a long,
Slow breath out.
Feeling your body awaken for the day.
And now that your body is feeling more refreshed and awake,
It's time to wake up your mind and feel positive thoughts carrying you through the day.
And if at any point in your day you experience any stress or anxiety,
I invite you to take a few moments to breathe and repeat the following affirmations.
Feel free to repeat after me or simply listen to the following phrases.
It's completely up to you.
I am capable of achieving anything that I work hard for.
I accept myself for who I am.
I am grateful for my life.
I have many wonderful qualities.
My life is filled with grace.
My life is filled with hope.
My life is filled with joy.
I am ready to tackle this day and anything that comes my way.
I choose to be calm and peaceful throughout the day.
And as this practice comes to an end,
Take a few moments to notice how you feel.
Take a couple of deep breaths to propel you towards a wonderful and productive day.
Take some time to return to your surroundings,
Feeling the breath.
Feeling the surface beneath your body.
And when you are ready,
