Good morning.
As you begin this new day,
Take a moment to pause,
To breathe,
To open your heart to gratitude.
Find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if you wish.
And gently place your hands over your heart.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
Feeling your lungs expand.
And then exhale gently,
Letting go of any tension.
Again,
Breathe in deeply.
Drawing in peace.
And then breathe out slowly,
Releasing any heaviness from yesterday.
As you breathe,
Think of three blessings in your life right now.
They may be big.
Or they may be small.
And that's okay.
It could be a loved one's smile.
A safe place to rest.
The gift of this new morning.
With each inhale,
Silently say,
Thank you,
Lord.
With each exhale,
Feel that gratitude filling every part of your being.
Now,
Picture your day ahead and imagine it unfolding with God's presence guiding you.
See all the things in your day.
Moments of kindness.
Opportunities to grow.
And reminders that you are deeply loved.
Now take one more deep breath in.
Hold.
And as you breathe out,
Gently open your eyes.
Step into this day with a grateful heart,
Knowing you are blessed,
Cherished,
And equipped for what lies ahead.
