What if I told you that your body is listening to your spirit right now?
Not metaphorically.
Not symbolically.
Biologically.
Every thought every fear.
Every belief,
Every burden.
Your body hears it all.
Because the body is always listening to the world within And perhaps this is why so many people feel exhausted.
Not because they're weak.
But because they have been caring too much for too long.
Care in fear.
Caring uncertainty care and grief.
Carrying responsibilities that were never meant to be carried alone.
And eventually the body begins speaking.
Through tension.
Through her teeth.
Through anxiety.
Through restlessness,
Through symptoms.
Not as punishment but as communication.
So before we go any further,
Take a slow breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Again.
Receiving.
Relieving.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Allow your jaw to release.
Allow your eyes to rest.
Nothing to force,
Nothing to achieve.
Nothing to become.
Simply arrive.
We live in a world obsessed with fixing the body.
Supplements,
Diets,
Exercise plans.
Optimization,
Biohacking,
Longevity.
And yet so many hearts remain tired.
So many nervous systems remain overwhelmed.
So many souls remain thirsty.
Because perhaps healing was never meant to begin with the body alone.
Perhaps healing begins deeper.
Within the spirit.
There is a verse that says,
Come to me,
All you who are weary and burdened,
And I will give you rest.
Most people hear those words as comfort.
Today hear them as invitations.
An invitation to stop caring life alone.
An invitation to allow God to hold what you have been trying to hold by yourself.
Notice your breathing.
Notice that the life is already moving through you.
Your heart is beating.
Your lungs are breathing.
Your body is doing thousands of things without your effort.
And perhaps God is asking you to trust Him with the rest.
Because the nervous system was never designed for endless fear.
The heart was never designed for endless worry.
This soul was never designed for endless striving.
And yet many of us have lived that way for years.
Always preparing.
Always anticipating.
Always breathing.
Always surviving.
So today,
Let yourself start.
Just for this moment.
And feel the chair beneath you Feel the floor beneath you.
Feel the support already present.
You're held.
Now bring awareness to your heart.
Place a hand there if it feels comfortable.
And ask gently.
Dear heart,
What have you been trying to carry?
Listen,
No forcing,
No fixing,
Simply listening.
Perhaps what arises is fear.
Perhaps grief.
Perhaps disappointment.
Perhaps exhaustion.
Let it be here.
God is not afraid of what lives inside you.
You don't need to hide it.
A strong spirit does not mean never hurting.
A strong spirit.
Does not mean pretending everything is okay.
A strong spirit means remaining connected to God while life is uncertain.
Remaining open while healing.
Remaining faithful while waiting.
Remaining loving.
While wounded.
Imagine now a gentle white light.
About your head.
Pure.
Peaceful.
Warm.
With every breath that light begins entering through the crown of your head.
Flowing into the mind.
Marine in peace.
Flowing into the throat,
Bringing truth.
Flowing into your heart.
Breathe in comfort.
Flowing into the solar plexus,
Bringing strength.
Flowing into the belly,
Bringing safety.
Flowing into every part of the body.
Every cell receiving a new message.
You are safe.
You are the world.
You are loved.
You are not alone.
And silently repeat.
I release what was never mine to carry along.
God walks with me.
My spirit is stronger than the fear.
My heart remains open.
My body can rest.
My soul can trust.
And maybe healing begins here.
Not by fighting yourself.
Not by fixing yourself.
But by remembering who cares you.
Remembering who walks beside you.
Remembering that even now you are held Take one final breath in.
And slowly exhale.
And carry this truth with you.
The body listens.
And today you gave it a message of faith.
A message of peace.
A message that says.
You are no longer have to do it alone.
