Sometimes we just need to cry. But the societal norms favor other feelings, and we might at times be forced to put on a mask? A good cry can release so much that we are holding on to. When we cry, we release a huge amount of built-up sorrow, grief, loneliness, tensions, anxiety, and all sorts of feelings. It opens us up, releases us, and when we cry, we have compassion for ourselves. When we take good care of all our feelings, we then hold ourselves and accept ourselves as we are. After the purging process, we have the ability to see clearer. It makes new room for so much love, joy, forgiveness, and healing. The tears transform and heal us. I see you.
