Welcome and let's settle in together as we take this space this morning to pause to become more focused,

Present,

And attuned with ourselves,

Allowing us the time to be more present for our children and the day ahead.

Let's turn to our breath and let's take a deep breath in and hold it for another two then release that breath out and take another deep breath in hold it for another two and release this breath out for even longer and take one more deep breath in hold it for two and a deep breath out settle in and notice as the air moves in through your nose into your abdomen and then back out through your mouth release an ah sound if that feels right for you If any thoughts come up during this practice,

Acknowledge them and let them float on by.

That's what thoughts do.

They will come and they will go.

Today,

Let's begin to imagine the perfect day,

A day that brings up that feeling of joy,

That feeling of inner light.

Imagine in detail how that looks as a parent and how you parent during this day,

The way it makes you feel,

The way you show up for your family.

Settle into this feeling and notice how it feels throughout your body.

Allow yourself to bask in this feeling a little bit longer and thank your inner self for showing you the map for how you can feel like this,

Your most authentic version as a parent.

Tuck away this feeling of joy and the images of parenting with joy as you embrace your day today.

So you may pull this out and remember at any point for a way to slow down and be present.
