Make yourself comfortable for Shavasana.
Shavasana is also known as the corpse pose.
So in this pose you're lying on your back with your arms nicely away from your body,
The palms are turned up,
The legs are straight,
Feet are apart,
And just let your ankles just fall out to the side.
Close your eyes.
And take long,
Deep breaths in and out of the nose.
Now let's inhale and we're going to tense to a maximum.
So inhale,
Tense the body,
Tense the arms,
The legs,
The face,
And then exhale and quickly let it go.
And then inhale again,
Just scowling,
Making fists,
Tightening the body,
Holding the breath.
And then exhale and release.
And allow your breath to find its own natural rhythm as you.
Gently turn your head to the left.
To the right,
Relaxing the neck muscles.
Back to the left.
To the right.
And straighten.
And make any final adjustments to allow yourself to just be here completely.
And as you lie here,
Feel everything slowing down.
As your body is already switching over to a maintenance level.
And the rhythm of your resting body.
Is in harmony with the rhythm of nature.
And as you relax,
All of the body's systems are being brought into balance.
And you feel increasingly at peace with yourself.
Within and without is peace.
And tranquility.
And you may not even have noticed.
The relaxation.
That has already begun.
Deep within.
Where you might experience a feeling of unwinding.
And softening.
And this unwinding and softening.
Is flowing through all of the organs.
And glands.
Flowing through all of the body systems.
And all parts are working as they should.
All parts are working together.
Creating an eternal environment of peace.
And harmony.
And this relaxation continues to flow outward.
Into the joints and muscles.
And as the joints are loosening.
The surrounding muscles are softening and relaxing.
And a very pleasant feeling of comfort.
And heaviness.
Is spreading throughout your entire body.
While the gentle pull of gravity is drawing you down.
Deeper.
And deeper.
Towards the earth.
Where your body is cradled here by Mother Earth.
And while your body continues to relax.
The mind is slowing down.
Thoughts may emerge to the surface.
But you are watching those thoughts.
In a very uninterested manner.
As if those thoughts belonged to someone else.
And while you watch.
Or not.
Those thoughts simply run themselves down.
Becoming fewer.
And farther between.
And the pauses between thoughts are becoming longer.
And it's in these pauses that you can experience the peace.
And Tranquility.
Of the silent.
Mind.
And throughout your resting body and mind.
Flows the feeling of peace.
Of deep inner joy.
And of tranquility.
And you are taking time now to enter fully into these feelings.
Taking time to enjoy them.
As you are one with them.
Now.
And coming back to consciousness awareness.
And still feeling relaxed.
A feeling of substance is beginning to return here.
On the floor or wherever you are.
And the feelings of peace and joy that you've experienced here.
We'll stay with you in the days to come.
And they can be called upon at any time.
Whenever they're needed.
Because these feelings live in your heart center.
Now gently wiggle your toes.
And your fingers.
Your feet.
Your hands.
Feeling a renewed energy flowing throughout your body.
Inhale as you take a long stretch.
And exhale.
And take another deep inhale with a good long stretch.
Exhale,
Feeling refreshed and alert and just bringing your palms together,
Rubbing them together,
Generating heat.
And placing them over your eyes.
This energy is very soothing.
Flowing into the eyes,
The face,
The head,
Your brain.
And then gradually.
Allow the light to enter in.
Allowing your eyes to adjust to the light.
Thank you for joining me.
You can come back to this meditation anytime you need a little reset.
A little quiet time,
Some relaxation.
Sending you big love.
Namaste.
