Hi,
My name is Dieke and welcome to the Femme Embodiment Quest.
This is day number five and the theme or word is connect,
Which means that we're going to be connecting to ourselves,
More specifically connecting to your body.
So we're getting out of the head into the body,
Creating that connection to your feminine essence,
To that part of you that carries you as a woman day by day.
We're going to be doing that by using touch.
So we're physically in an embodied way,
Creating that connection with yourself.
For this practice I'm going to invite you actually to come to lie down and then from there I'll be guiding you step by step through a little self-touch exercise.
One bell marks the start,
Three bells marks the end.
So for now you can come to lie down.
Making yourself comfortable.
And for a moment,
You can close down your eyes,
Tuning in with that theme,
That word,
Connect.
And from here.
While you're lying down,
Letting your body get heavy.
And your feet naturally fall open.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up your lungs.
And then exhale,
Side out.
Open mouth and allowing yourself to become heavy.
As if you're sort of sinking down into the floor.
And really as if you're resting back into that support that the floor,
The earth is offering here.
Let's take another breath in.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Allowing your body to get heavy.
One more time,
Deep breath in.
Exhale let it go giving in And then from here,
While you're lying down,
Bringing some movement into your fingertips and then placing your hands on your lower belly.
So connecting here to your lower belly,
To your womb.
And this is also the first feminine power center.
You can call that the second chakra.
But it's not just energetic,
It's also physical because we have our physical womb here.
Which is connected to the theme of our aliveness.
Feeling.
Our emotions.
Our cyclical nature as a woman.
So sensing the warmth of your hands resting on your lower belly.
And then taking a breath into that space below your hands.
Maybe you're feeling your hands naturally rise.
And naturally fall.
You can give your belly a few gentle belly rubs.
And then slowly stroking up towards your heart.
So you're still lying down on your back,
Placing your hands on your heart,
Or maybe noticing and sensing your breasts for a moment.
And again,
Just feeling your hands resting on your heart,
Maybe noticing it's warm.
And here we're creating that connection to the second feminine power center.
The heart center.
And it's all about love,
Empathy,
Compassion.
Nurturing.
And our breasts physically represent also that feminine power center.
And taking a deep breath in,
Into your chest,
Into the space below your hands.
And then just gently caressing,
Touching.
Creating that physical connection to your chest,
To your breasts.
To your heart.
And then gently stroking yourself up,
Your hands making your way up towards your third eye to space in between your eyebrows,
So around your forehead.
And we can just stroke out here the third eye,
Maybe you want to stroke up a few times.
Or gently massage your temples.
Releasing any tension from your temples.
And as if it's raining on your forehead,
A few gentle taps on your forehead.
And then just placing your hands sort of like over your eyes,
Connecting.
To your forehead,
To your third eye.
You're connecting here to your third and last feminine power center.
Your third eye.
Which is connected to the theme of your intuition.
This ability to know and to sense without logically knowing.
And this is not just an energetic concept,
Literally the part of the brain.
That is connected to our intuition tends to be bigger for women than it is for men.
So your body is literally designed to sense,
To pick up things that are not there.
Always as logically visible or there.
Taking a deep breath in into the space below your hands.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
And then from here,
I want you to just gently touch and caress your head,
Your hair.
So it's a very soft.
Touch.
But also present ones.
You're connecting.
To your head,
To maybe the back of your neck.
Even massage out your neck a little bit using your fingers.
Maybe you're noticing or sensing some tension.
I'm just giving.
.
.
Some loving touch,
Maybe some massage to your neck.
Or to your jaw.
Taking a breath in.
Wow.
You can stroke and connect to your throat.
Making your way down to your shoulders.
Your upper chest.
So you're just using touch here.
To physically connect to every part of your body.
You can gently squeeze,
Gently massage,
Maybe it's just a caress.
Of being very loving.
Explore your arms.
Your hands,
Your fingers.
If you like,
You can actually even Use your eyes to look with a sense of.
Connection of love,
Acceptance.
This curiosity of like,
Wow,
This is my body.
Pressing down the upper body,
Sides of your body.
Maybe again,
Your belly and your heart.
Give me your head.
And also here,
You can actually start to raise your legs up.
So that you can easily connect to your legs.
To your hips.
And really exploring every part of your body,
Eventually making your way down to your bum,
Maybe back of your upper legs,
To your shins.
Gently caressing,
Touching,
Massaging.
Also feel free to gently move around to a side.
Maybe a little twist so you can explore and maybe massage your lower back a little.
You're sacrum.
Eventually you're making your way down to your feet.
Just giving your feet a little massage.
Do that one at a time.
It can be really nice to specifically connect to this point in the ball of the foot.
Kidney points.
You can gently press or squeeze.
The kidneys connect to your water essence.
Their feminine energy.
And making sure you also do that with the other foot.
Gently starting to wrap up that massage,
That touch.
Oh.
Knees into your chest,
Giving yourself a loving hug.
So just holding yourself here.
Connecting to yourself.
And these three bells mark the end of this embodiment practice.
You can let go,
Just squeeze,
Placing your hands in front of your chest.
You can do that also lying down in front of your third eye and just thanking yourself for showing up.
Dedicating this time to connect with yourself.
