Take a moment to arrive.
You don't need to fix anything right now.
Just pause.
You don't need to feel calm.
You don't need to feel grateful.
Just be here.
And allow your body to settle into its position.
Noticing where there is weight,
Contact,
Support.
Allow yourself to be held for a moment.
And now bring your attention inward to sensations in the body.
Notice areas that feel tight,
Heavy,
Tired,
Or restless.
And also notice any areas that feel good or neutral or steady.
You're not scanning to improve.
Just to listen.
Now gently bring awareness to your breath.
Again,
No need to change it.
Let the breath be an anchor.
Something simple and reliable in this moment.
And as you breathe,
Silently ask yourself,
What am I noticing right now?
Sensations,
Emotions,
Energy levels.
Let the answer be felt,
Not analyzed.
And now ask a second question.
What do I need right now to support myself?
This might be rest,
Space,
Movement,
Kindness,
Boundaries,
Or simply permission to pause.
See if you can acknowledge that need without judging it,
Minimizing it,
Overthinking it,
Or negotiating with it.
Just recognizing it is already a form of care.
And if it feels possible,
Offer one small response,
Not a big change,
Just a micro adjustment.
Maybe softening your jaw,
Relaxing your hands,
Letting your breath slow down slightly.
And remember,
A meaningful life is built this way,
Not from control.
But from listening.
Not all at once,
But moment by moment.
Take one slow breath in and a longer breath out.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and carry these questions with you today.
What does my body need right now?
What feels kind in this moment?
What would help just a little?
And trust that you can always pause and ask again.
