So get comfortable now,
In your bed,
In your serene space,
Where the lingering warmth of the day meets the cool onset of night,
And take a deep,
Intentional breath in,
Drawing in the crisp,
Rejuvenating air of a spring evening.
Pause at this breath's peak,
Embracing the quiet anticipation of the night.
As you exhale,
Release the day's activities and any lingering winter chill,
Feeling your body and mind ease into the evening's embrace.
Let's go ahead and take two more deep,
Intentional breaths.
With each inhale,
Visualize the soft,
Twilight sky of spring,
Painted in pastel colours that promise growth and renewal.
And with each exhale,
Feel your connection to the earth,
Alive with the stirrings of new life,
Grounding you in this beautiful moment.
Now imagine,
Bring to view the gentle unfurling of leaves and petals at dusk,
Responding to the cool night air in a natural rhythm of rest and growth.
This mirrors our own process of turning inward at day's end,
A necessary pause that prepares us for the rejuvenation that comes with each and every new dawn.
We close off the noise of the day and turn toward the stillness that resides within,
