This meditation is inspired by Gyeongpungnyeon, a traditional Korean piece that celebrates a year of abundance. The soft, spacious tones of the daegeum (Korean bamboo flute) guide you into a state of calm breath and gentle clarity. As the music unfolds, imagine a quiet field at dawn, slowly filling with light and gratitude. Each note invites you to release tension, settle your thoughts, and reconnect with inner abundance. Let this serene soundscape become a peaceful sanctuary where your mind can rest and renew.

And take a slow,

Gentle breath.

A clear breeze begins to rise and,

At the edge of that breeze,

The soft voice of the tekkum emerges,

Quiet.

As you exhale,

Imagine a wide field opening before you,

Rain and sun.

Now,

Ro,

In the courts of the Joseon dynasty,

This melody was performed in moments of gratitude,

When the nation hoped for peace and when people gathered to celebrate a bountiful harvest.

The opening notes of the tekkum arrive like morning dew on new spring,

As if offering a quiet blessing.

With each breath of the flute,

The field's beauty lies in restraint,

In the elegance of a single,

Rising tone,

And in the silence that follows,

Through abundance,

Does not need to shout.

It simply unfolds,

Settling,

In the presence of calm gratitude.

As the music flows,

Turnip moments has been slowly maturing within you,

When the flute ascends into its clear,

Bright tones.
