Welcome to your pre-date calming meditation.

Dating is essential if we want to meet our ideal partner and experience the joy,

Happiness and connection that a loving relationship can bring.

Meeting a potential partner face-to-face can be both a scary and exciting prospect.

This meditation will help you calm any pre-date nerves or anxieties that you might be experiencing whilst encouraging you to maintain a positive outlook around your own self worth and the amazing attributes you bring to a relationship.

When we practice loving kindness towards ourselves we are able to recognize our own worth.

This makes us happier,

More positive and provides a sense of ease with the whole dating experience.

We want to date with an open heart that is ready to receive.

We begin today's meditation by finding a comfortable place to sit and be still.

When you are ready close your eyes,

Take a long slow deep breath in and as you breathe in fill your heart space with loving energy.

As you release your breath expel any pre-date nerves or anxieties that you might be holding on to.

Breathe in again relaxing your body and letting go of any tightness or resistance,

Just relax.

When you exhale release any unhelpful thoughts or anxieties that might be existing in your heart space.

Breathe in loving energy into those spaces that you release the anxieties from.

Feel your heart opening and when you breathe out release any negativity.

Continue to breathe easily and effortlessly and shift your awareness to your breathing.

Now I want you to visualize your heart,

Give thanks for its amazing ability to keep your body running and for its ability to love for the way it already loves people in your life and for the way it remains open and wide to receiving new love.

Now bring to mind the unique qualities that you possess,

Your tenderness,

Your honesty,

Your openness,

Your humor,

Your ability to relate to people with ease,

The people that you know well and the ones you are yet to meet.

Think about the joy your smile brings to others,

The gentleness of your touch and the way you make people feel when they are around you.

Remind yourself what a blessing you are to this world and to yourself.

The feeling of graciousness in your heart,

Feel how blessed others are to have you in your life and to meet you.

In a moment I will say some affirmations,

Feel free to say them out loud or repeat them back to yourself.

I deserve to be happy.

I deserve love and affection.

I am worthy of a healthy and loving relationship.

I deserve to be treated as a priority.

I am open and willing to receive love.

I am open and willing to let go of any old beliefs around love to make room for more.

Love is on its way to me now.

Love is always on its way.
