Welcome,
Dear one.
This is your time to let go,
To soften,
To unwind,
To rest.
You've done enough for today.
There is nowhere else to be,
Nothing else to do.
Just this moment,
Just this breath.
Let's begin by gently bringing your awareness to your body.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the bed beneath you.
Allow yourself to settle,
To arrive here.
Now,
I'd like to invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Take your time,
Breathe in deeply,
And when you're ready,
Take another deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth as you're letting everything glide off of you.
Just let it go,
Let go of all the tension in your muscles.
Gently let it all just drift away.
Feel your body begin to soften.
Your forehead smooth,
Your jaw unclenched,
Your shoulders gently falling away from your ears.
Let the muscles in your arms relax.
Let your hands rest heavy and still.
Notice your chest arising and falling effortlessly with your breath.
Notice the soft belly.
Relax,
Just relax.
Everything is okay.
Now allow your legs to grow heavy.
Let your feet melt into the mattress.
Let your whole body feel safe,
Supported,
And still.
As thoughts arise,
There's no need to follow them.
Just notice and gently return to the sound of my voice.
Back to the breath.
Now imagine a soft wave of calm energy gently moving through you,
Starting at the crown of your head,
Flowing down your chest,
Your hips,
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
Feel yourself sinking deeper into the bed.
As you drift towards your sleep,
Allow your awareness to softly dissolve into stillness.
