Hi,
This is Aisha from The Purposeful Path.
Here on Insight Timer.
Thank you for joining me.
I'm so glad you're here.
Affirmations are a great way to set intentions and guide you through your day.
We'll incorporate some semantics and breathwork to really enable us to receive an anchor into how we want to show up.
How does that sound?
If you're ready,
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Wherever your body feels most at ease right now.
Let your spine settle into a neutral posture.
And give yourself permission to adjust however and whenever you need to.
Close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Now begin to notice your body.
Without judgment.
Scan for any areas of tension.
Or where you might be holding yourself in place.
Start from the top of your head.
Move down your face and then into your jaw.
Release any tightness you might feel.
Scan your neck and your shoulders.
And let them release and soften.
Now notice your chest.
Your belly.
Your lower back.
Let your arms relax.
And your hands rest gently where they are.
Finally,
Scan from your seat to the top of your legs.
Your legs to your knees.
And then down through your ankles into your feet.
Allow your body to be at rest.
Just as it is.
Now turn your attention to your breath.
If it feels comfortable to you.
Place one of your hands in the middle of your chest.
And the other.
Just under your belly.
You can also choose to use just one hand.
Or leave your hands in a resting position.
Take a nice gentle breath in.
And a slow,
Easy breath out.
And again,
A gentle breath in.
And a slow,
Easy breath out.
Find a breath rhythm that feels comfortable to you.
There's no right or wrong.
No pace you need to match.
Just breathe naturally.
And with every exhale,
Let yourself relax a little bit more.
Allow yourself to hear these words with openness.
Notice any emotions that arise with compassion and care.
Take time to reflect on them afterwards.
For now,
Simply follow the practice.
And receive them as you're able.
Repeat each affirmation in silence or out loud.
And then take a slow deep breath in as if you're really drawing it into your body.
If you wish,
You can adjust and use any phrasing that's meaningful for you.
I am happy and healthy.
I am loved and loving.
I am in a constant state of wellness and thriving.
I openheartedly seek learning in challenges.
I reflect and grow through all my experiences.
My mind is focused,
Clear,
And centered.
I am deeply connected to my inner wisdom and higher powers.
In times of uncertainty.
I hold fast to faith and trust.
I am successful and effective in all that I am.
And all that I do.
I attract and create wonderful opportunities.
I co-create fulfilling relationships.
I receive divine abundance in all forms.
I'm grateful for everyone I love and care for.
I'm thankful for all blessings that come to me.
I give gratitude for my journey and for this life.
So be it.
And so it is.
For my highest good and the highest good of all.
Keep breathing.
Let these words settle in and just be with them.
Take a slow,
Gentle breath in.
And a deco.
And again,
A nice gentle breath in.
And an easy breath out.
As we close this practice,
You can wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
You can circle your wrists.
Move your head from side to side.
Add in any gentle movement that brings you back to your space.
And when you're ready.
If you haven't already.
You can't open your eyes.
Thank you for being here.
I invite you to come back to this practice whenever you need it.
It was made for you,
And it belongs to you.
I would love to hear how it landed for you and any ways I might make it more helpful.
Sending you peace,
Love.
And light.
