In and out.

Breathe through your nose.

Breathe out through your mouth.

In through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

And out through your mouth.

Place your right hand over your heart.

And your left hand over your right hand.

As you breathe in through your nose.

And as you exhale,

Repeat,

I am safe.

Breathe in.

Exhale,

I am safe.

Breathe in.

Exhale,

I am safe.

Continue to breathe in and out.

Affirming that you are safe.

Take a deep breath in.

I am safe.

Now take another deep breath in.

And breathe out through your mouth.

Let all of the tension in your body release every time you exhale.

Breathe in.

And exhale.

And as you continue to breathe,

Relax your feet.

Relax your legs.

Relax your hips.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your arms and dangle them to your side.

And shake your arms.

And shake out any tension that you have in your body.

Relax your neck.

And move your neck around in a counterclockwise circle.

Now move your neck around in a clockwise circle.

Relax the tension in your head.

And breathe in.

And exhale.

And say,

I am safe.

Breathe in.

And say,

I am safe in my body.

Breathe in.

And exhale.

I am safe in my body.

I am safe in my body.

Breathe in and exhale.

I am safe in my mind.

Breathe in and exhale.

I am safe in my heart.

Breathe in and exhale.

I am safe in my environment.

Breathe in and exhale.

I am safe.

Take a deep breath in.
