How many steps does it take to get to this room?
How many steps does it take to get to this room?
And of course,
Wherever you are,
The koan changes with you.
So if you're at the beach,
How many steps does it take to get to the beach?
If you're in the bathroom,
How many steps does it take to get to the bathroom?
2?
3?
6?
How about now?
How many steps?
How many steps does it take to get to the sound of the bird call?
The sky.
Your own heart.
And so,
