Welcome.
And thank you for choosing to spend this time with yourself.
The Forest of Forgotten Dreams is a guided inner journey into the landscape of your imagination.
A symbolic space where memories,
Dreams,
And forgotten parts of yourself can gently come back into awareness.
Growth life!
We all set aside pieces of who we are.
Sometimes because of fear,
Disappointment,
Responsibility,
Or simply the demands of everyday life.
Yet even when they're forgotten.
Those parts of us are not truly lost.
They often remain quietly within us.
Waiting to be remembered.
When the time is right.
This meditation is an invitation to slow down.
To listen deeply and to reconnect with whatever is ready to emerge today.
There's nothing that you need to force,
Analyze or understand.
Simply allow yourself to experience the journey with an open mind and an open heart.
Everyone's experience will be unique.
You may receive vivid images,
Memories,
Emotions or insights.
One may simply enjoy a sense of peace and stillness.
Whatever unfolds for you is exactly as it needs to be.
So I invite you to find a comfortable position where you can relax without being interrupted.
And allow your body to soften and take a slow nourishing breath.
And when you're ready.
Let us begin our journey into the forest of forgotten dreams.
Take a slow,
Gentle breath in and a long,
Easy breath out.
And allow your body to settle know that there's nowhere to go,
Nothing to achieve,
Nothing to fix.
For these next few moments.
Simply allow yourself to be here.
Breathing.
Least the name.
Receiving.
As your breath begins to find its own natural rhythm.
Imagine yourself.
Standing at the edge of an ancient forest.
A forest unlike any that you have ever seen.
The air feels soft.
The light filters through the trees like liquid gold.
A gentle mist dances between the trunks.
And somehow.
Without knowing why.
This place feels familiar.
As if you have been here before.
As if some forgotten part of you remembers this place.
Take a few steps forward.
And notice the earth beneath your feet.
You can smell the scent of moss.
You can hear the sound of distant birdsong.
The whisper of leaves moving in the breeze.
And everything feels alive.
But where?
And welcoming.
With each step that you take The noise of the outside world fades further into the distance.
The expectations,
The responsibilities,
The labels,
The roles we're all becoming quieter and quieter Until there's only you and the forest.
As you continue walking.
You notice something unusual.
Hanging from the branches of the trees that are small lights.
Hundreds of them.
Some glow softly.
Others shine brightly.
Each one of them is unique.
Each one of them is carrying its own color and energy.
And you feel drawn towards one of these lights.
Allow yourself to approach it There's no need to force anything,
Simply notice what appears.
As you come closer you begin to realize something you realize that this light is not just a light.
It is a dream.
A dream that once belonged to you.
Possibility.
A desire.
A part of yourself Perhaps it's something from childhood.
Perhaps it emerged later in life.
Perhaps it's something they have not thought about in years.
Allow yourself to simply observe What is this dream?
What does it represent?
How old were you when it first appeared?
And what happens to it.
As you stand before this dream.
Notice how it responds to your presence.
Perhaps it grows brighter Perhaps he reveals a memory.
Perhaps it offers a feeling.
Or maybe it simply reminds you of who you were before fear entered the conversation.
There's no judgment here.
No regrets.
No criticism.
Only curiosity.
Only compassion.
You're not here to punish yourself for forgetting.
You're here to remember.
And as you continue deeper into the forest you discover a clearing.
And in the center of this clearing.
Stands an enormous ancient tree.
Far older than any tree that you have ever seen.
Its roots reach deep into the earth.
Its branches stretch towards the heavens.
And hanging from those branches our countless lives.
Thousands of forgotten dreams.
Streams from every chapter of your life.
Some are dreams that have been fulfilled.
Some have been abandoned.
Some are still waiting patiently.
New walk towards the tree.
And as you do,
One dream begins to shine more brightly than all the others.
One truth.
Is calling you.
It's one part of yourself that wishes to be seen.
Country.
What do you notice?
What feelings arise?
What does this dream want you to know?
Now imagine that this dream gently transforms into a guide.
Perhaps it appears as a child.
Perhaps as a future version of yourself.
Perhaps it's life.
Maybe as something entirely unexpected.
And as this guide speaks to you.
It shares exactly what you need to hear today.
A message.
From a part of you that never stopped believing.
A message.
From the point of view.
Has been patiently waiting for you to return.
Listen now.
You as the message comes to an end.
Place your hand over your heart.
And silently say,
I remember.
I honour the dreams that I left behind.
I release the dreams that no longer belong to me.
And I will come back.
The pores of myself.
They are ready to return feel these words settling into your being like little seeds finding fertile soil.
Like rain returning to a thirsty garden.
And notice what feels different Notice what feels alive.
Notice what has awakened The forest seems brighter now.
More vibrant,
More colorful.
As if something within you has shifted and before leaving.
Turn and look one final time at the great tree And notice that one of the lights begins to drift toward you.
Slowly.
Gently.
Until it answers your heart a gift.
Of remembrance.
A piece of yourself returning home.
Allow that light to settle within you.
Knowing that you can return to this forest whenever you wish whenever you need guidance.
Whenever you need clarity.
Whenever you need to remember who you truly are.
Now begin to bring your awareness back to your breath back to your body back to the room around you.
Feeling the surface beneath you feeling the air against your skin now take a deep breath in and a gentle breath out and slowly wiggle your fingers and your toes and gently.
In your own time.
Whenever you're ready.
You can slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
