Day 4 - A spacious mind. Each day can be listened to in sequence or returned to individually at any time. These short guided meditations, accompanied by ambient piano, guide the listener back to a state of clear and inspired awareness, helping to bring a positive and uplifting energy to their day. In sequence, they are: - Day 1 - Arrive in stillness - Day 2 - the Light of clarity - Day 3 - Setting Kindness as an intention - Day 4 - Spacious mind - Day 5 - Gratitude. Once the series has been completed, it's recommended to return the following day to each again, by returning the body and mind more deeply assimilate the teachings. The shifts are subtle, so returning helps to anchor their respective messages.

Day four,

The spacious mind for a busy day,

A full day may be waiting for you,

But here before it begins,

You can rest in your own spacious awareness,

Once again sit upright spine and neck straight,

Shoulders relaxed and hands resting softly in your lap,

Begin with your first breath,

Breathing in through the nose,

At the top of the breath pause,

Then exhale slowly,

At the bottom of that breath pause again,

Before you next inhale,

Let this rhythm of your breath,

Bring steadiness and a relaxation to your body and mind,

Now imagine your awareness expanding outward,

Begin with your breath,

Feel the breath in your chest,

Notice the whole body is breathing,

Then notice the space around the body that is also breathing in unison,

Now spread your awareness even wider,

Out into the room where you sit,

Then out into the sky above,

Out into the quiet vastness,

The eternal vastness that holds,

Sustains and nurtures all,

Let thoughts come and go,

Like clouds passing in the open sky,

Notice you don't need to do anything,

For they move quietly on their own,

You are resting in something much wider,

Much vaster,

More open and more spacious,

Here in the now,

For a few moments,

Breathe here as that open awareness,

Let this spacious awareness soften the mind and lighten the heart,

And now as you enter this day,

Remember this vast presence of stillness awareness,

For even in busyness,

Your mind can remain open,

Clear,

Steady and spacious.
