Where Everything Is Music | Rumi Poem
by Wood
In this poem by Rumi, the song of life rises beyond form and fear. As the words fall away, we touch a hidden truth, the music that flows beneath everything, calling us back to a silent, living center. Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi, popularly known as "Rumi", is a 13th-century Sufi poet. Today, he is recognised as one of the greatest poets who ever lived, due in part to how his words seem to speak to the Divine. Photo by Siim Lukka. Translation by Coleman Barks.
