Breathe | Rumi Poem
by Wood
This poem by Rumi is a about the moment. “The Morning Wind” reminds us to pause, breathe deeply, and take in the freshness of a new day. And to feel the quiet miracle of being alive before it passes. Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi, popularly known as "Rumi", is a 13th-century Sufi poet. Today, he is recognised as one of the greatest poets who ever lived, due in part to how his words seem to speak to the Divine. Photo by Karen d’Hondt. Translation by Coleman Barks.
