A Mystic And A Drunk | Rumi Poem
by Wood
This poem by Rumi is a journey of surrender and inner alignment. As the universe circles on its axis, so too does the soul, humbled yet free, seeking the center. In silence, the door opens, and love becomes the key to true transformation. Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi, popularly known as "Rumi", is a 13th-century Sufi poet. Today, he is recognised as one of the greatest poets who ever lived, due in part to how his words seem to speak to the Divine. Translation by Coleman Barks.
