This is my interpretation/arrangement of the Scottish folk song Auld Lang Syne, which is commonly played around the New Year's Eve. The song starts on the piano, accompanied by smooth choir synths in the background. With every verse, the arrangement develops further, guitars come into play and eventually carries the rhythm of the song, while the melody is played on the tin whistle with some bagpipe synths. At the end, a short outro is played on the guitars. The flowing transitions in the song symbolize the constant change in life and invites the listener to contemplate on it for a moment.
