The commodification of mindfulness also means that the practice is more valuable as a short-term salve rather than a permanent fix to the issues. In this course, you can find a quick introduction to mindfulness, a cognitive approach to mindfulness, and then some activities that lead us to the elevated goal of practising mindfulness, which is not just experiencing a short-term relief from stress, but rather a sense of permanent change.
