Sarah Abu-Absi

As a forest therapy guide and mind-body coach, Sarah's mission is to help people feel better, while remembering their connection to the Earth and each other. Sarah supports people recovering from chronic illness and pain, as well as people feeling stressed or disconnected. Sarah guides people in parks, green spaces and forest preserves throughout Chicagoland, as well as over Zoom – both in groups and one-on-one. In addition to years of training in Forest Therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy and Mind-Body Coaching, Sarah draws from her personal journey of recovering from chronic illness and pain. She ultimately wants to help people love themselves, each other and the Earth. She lives outside Chicago in Evanston, Illinois with her greatest teachers – her husband, two teenage kids, and rescue pug-hound.
