Meet your Teacher

Teresa McLean is a Registered Massage Therapist, meditation guide, and creator of The Quiet Becoming. With over two decades of experience working with the nervous system through body-based care, Teresa supports people in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and finding steadiness during times of transition. Her work integrates trauma-informed principles, somatic awareness, and gentle mindfulness, offering practices that are accessible, calming, and deeply human. Teresa’s teaching style is rooted in presence rather than performance, emphasizing safety, self-trust, and compassion over striving or self-improvement. What If It All Works Out reflects both her professional background and her lived experience of learning to soften urgency, release pressure, and trust the unfolding of life. I began this course without any expectations and not actually feeling I needed it based on the description, but from the first lesson I learned a different perspective on how I viewed hope and optimism, as well as fear and bracing. Growing up as a child and living in a home with fear and uncertainty, mainly due to a parent with a lack of maturity in their own emotional capacity, I learned to survive by hoping, bracing and believing that tomorrow would be a better day. Through these lessons I realized that I have carried much of this perspective into adulthood. I felt these lessons open doors in my body that I did not realize were closed. Thank you for sharing in such a calm and gentle style. I now plan to go back and listen to this series again, so I can absorb these life lessons even deeper.
