A Grounding Meditation for Negative Energy Release

Blessing All. Here is a standing meditation for grounding and discharging negative energy with the assistance of the sun and nature. Much Love.

Take your place.

Take your place outside,

Beneath the sun,

In a grassy area.

Take a moment to align your feet so that they are hip bone distance apart.

Stack your knees over your ankles.

Be sure not to lock your knees and if needed have a micro bend in the knees in order to protect them from hyperextension.

Using your natural breath,

Inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Stand tall with your spine long and your shoulders rooted onto the back of your body.

Close your eyes,

Relax your arms and turn your palms to face forward.

Continue to breathe.

As you become present,

Notice how the rays of the sun bathe your body in their warm radiance.

Breathe in this warmth and this light and give permission to the light to hold space for you here and now.

To serve as a container and a guide for this meditation and work.

As you grant full permission to the light to hold space and to guide you,

The light will surround your being in a warm,

Radiant glow.

As you breathe,

You now breathe in the warm light,

Filling your cells,

Your muscles,

Your bones,

Your tissues and your blood with its radiance.

As you continue to breathe,

The light continues to fill your being and concentrates itself into a ball at the base of your spine.

Stand in the presence of this light.

Allow the comfort of the light to wash over you.

Inhale deeply,

Feeling the light travel up your spine and extend itself out through the crown of your head.

Exhale,

And from the core of your pelvis,

Allow the light to travel down your legs and ground your feet into the earth.

Continue to inhale and lengthen the spine and exhale and ground down into the earth for three more cycles of breath.

Filling your lungs to capacity with each inhale,

Pausing and steadily releasing the air to further ground your feet into the earth.

When you feel completely grounded and connected to the earth,

Mindfully focus your attention on the ball of light seated at the base of your spine.

As you focus on the light and continue to breathe,

A closed red bud appears in the light.

This is your root,

Your mudalahara.

The chakra,

Or energy vortex,

Is related to the earth element.

It is that which grounds us,

And it is that which is rooted in our need to survive.

Fear of scarcity,

Of lacking,

And anxiety regarding our safety and security create an imbalance in this chakra and debilitate its full blossoming capabilities.

Today,

We have been called here to assess and discharge negative energy,

Limiting beliefs,

And old patterns or samskaras that are impeding on the development,

On the rooting and on the blooming of this energy center.

The light of the sun and the cool,

Dense earth are here to assist us in this work,

To witness,

To move,

And to accept those things which no longer serve us,

To accept that which we are willing and ready to release.

Ask yourself what limiting beliefs threaten your sense of security,

What doubts and fears are inhibiting you from experiencing stability,

And what illusions of scarcity are keeping you from resting in true stillness.

As you call these beliefs,

These fears and anxiety to the light,

Acknowledge your role in upholding and giving space for these fears and anxieties to thrive and to grow throughout your energy centers.

When you have identified these ideals,

These illusions or fears and anxieties,

Gather them together.

Thank them for their service and give gratitude for the many teachings they have gifted to you.

Give thanks for the shadow sides that they have shown you.

When you are ready,

Offer those which you are willing and ready to part with to the light.

Notice that as the light envelopes these ideals,

Fears,

And anxieties,

Notice how they shrink in size and float about the light as small particles.

When you are ready to discharge these particles,

Inhale deeply from the depths of your belly,

Breathe in,

Exhale slowly.

As you exhale,

Focus your attention on the ball of light and feel the light travel from the base of your spine,

Along the bones of each leg,

And into the soles of your feet carrying those particles with it and releasing them into the earth.

Continue to inhale with awareness and exhale and discharge for four more cycles of breath to ensure all of the negative particles have been cleared from this energy center.

When you feel that all of the particles have been discharged,

Focus your attention on the ball of light and feel the light travel from the base of your body to the soles of your feet.

Feel the sense of security,

Of stability,

And stillness that radiates from the center of this flower.

Feel how it beckons and calls to you.

Allow yourself to rest here,

To rest in the truth that you have always and will always be taken care of and provided for,

To rest in the truth that the universe and that spirit conspire with you to ensure that you were taken care of and provided for.

Take five rounds of breath to rest here,

To replenish,

And to firm your roots in the presence of the stability,

The security,

And stillness that this chakra embodies.

This is your true nature.

When you feel fully nourished and replenished,

Bring your attention back to the light that is seated at the base of your spine.

Thank her for her service and release her from your being.

As the light begins to fade,

Mindfully bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.

Feel the coolness of the earth and the texture of the grass on your soles.

Thank the earth for her service and her gift of continued grounding.

Rest your awareness back into your body by focusing once again on your breath and allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Feel the sensations present in your body and listen to the sounds that surround you.

Slowly bring your palms to touch in front of your heart and bow your head in gratitude to the light that lives within you.

I found this right on time after encounter last night that awoke me out of a dream, so I knew some cleansing needed to be done of some type of negativity: especially if you wake up with some uneasiness.
