Suzie Corbett

Suzie is a yoga teacher, meditation guide, performer, and educator with over two decades of experience helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, stillness, and self-inquiry. Drawing from Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Taoism, mindfulness, and somatic practices, Suzie creates spaces that invite deep rest, self-awareness, and authentic transformation. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and accessible, blending ancient wisdom with practical tools for modern life. Suzie is the lead teacher for Yin Yoga and 200hr teacher trainings with Nin Yoga and facilitates retreats, workshops, and private mentoring for students, teachers, and performers. She is also an accomplished aerial artist and creator of a high-energy acrobatic show performed internationally. Based on a peaceful bushland property in Australia, Suzie believes that healing and growth arise not from striving harder, but from learning to slow down, listen deeply, and cultivate a more meaningful relationship with ourselves. Through her meditations and Yoga Nidras on Insight Timer, she offers practices to support nervous system regulation, deep rest, and a return to the wisdom that already exists within.

Spoken with a air of purpose and efficiency, this is a good one for getting started first thing in the morning. My favorite parts are No music, naming the digits as index, middle, ring finger and little finger; rather than numbering them, which always confuses me because people do it differently. I also liked the line down the middle of the body dividing left and right. Distinctly separating body parts. Altogether very relaxing and centering. Held my attention well.
