This poem is about breaking the generational cycles that can often be holding us back, the uncertainty of not knowing who to turn to or what to do, and how to finally one day become free of them.

Who am I in this cycle? It sure does feel familiar. What have I caused by being? What is my role to play? Who am I in this cycle? Does it end with me? How do I make this happen? Who do I look for? Who am I in this cycle? Who can I put blame? Do I accept it as it is? There is no way to change. Who am I in this cycle and how do I bow out? Who must I contend with? Whose permission do I seek? Who am I in this cycle? The only one that matters. At what point will I know? At what point will it happen? Who am I in this cycle? The one to make it happen. The moment that I choose for future generations. Who am I in this cycle? The one to break the wheel. To step on stage and feel the ocean and finally one day be free.
