Let's enjoy a family meditation that is suitable for ages 3 plus that can be done anywhere that is quiet and relaxing and calming.
Now know that this will be short and easy to follow and fun for your child as well.
So choose if you're going to lay down next to each other or if you're going to sit nice and tall with your back and your body lifting to the sky.
Take a deep breath in with me through your nose.
And exhale out.
Try that again.
Take a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
You're doing such a good job breathing.
See if you can do it just one more time.
Deep breath in.
And deep breath out.
Try to lift your back nice and tall or lay really still as you take another deep breath in.
And a deep breath out.
Now imagine with the magic of your mind that you are sitting or laying on a white fluffy cloud.
This fluffy cloud has found its way down from the sky all the way down under you.
And you get to sit or lay on this cloud.
Your cloud is safe.
Your cloud is comfortable.
You are together with your family and you're resting on this white soft fluffy cloud.
Now your cloud just like the softest bed in the world begins to lift up higher and off the floor.
And you are safe and you feel comfortable.
And your cloud lifts you up all the way up higher and higher into the sky until you can see all the other clouds in the blue sky.
You float on your cloud enjoying your breathing,
Enjoying what you see up from the sky.
And your cloud can float anywhere.
It can float over the desert.
It can float over a mountain.
It can float over your home.
It can float over the beach in the ocean.
And it is a safe place for you to enjoy resting in the comfort of your white fluffy cloud.
Notice what you see from up there in the sky.
What are the colors you see?
What do you see down below?
Keep it in the magic of your mind.
Know that you can share it with your parent after.
Notice everything you see from up here in the blue sky.
Enjoy the colors you see.
Enjoy seeing the birds around you and the other clouds.
And how good it feels to be on top of the world looking at everything below you.
Continue to enjoy resting on your cloud.
