A Flat

WARNING: This track has movement and energy that transitions. It may not be for people looking for quiet and serene meditation type of music. As a composer, improviser, pianist, and recording technician, each piece uses a prepared piano with not only objects incorporated into the piano, but the many microphones themselves have been placed in such a way that they are part of the composition. The microphones are an integral part of the prepared piano and the composition. I stopped recording the album after my meditation became so deep and profound that I began to prefer silence to music…. I expect that at some time in the future, the deep voice inside will again reveal itself in order to sing its song to the outside world once more…. until then, may you find some insight into the truth of our existence in these pieces.
