Tejase

Tejase (tay-ja-say) translates as "the vital essence of illumination" and is the essence of Shiva invoked when chanting the deeply luminous mantra: Om Namah Shivaya Gurave, Satchidananda Murtaye, Nishprapanchaya Shantaya, Niralambaya Tejase. Translation: Om and salutations to Lord Shiva who is the true teacher within (Sat Guru), who assumes the form of truth, consciousness, and bliss, is always present and full of peace, independent in existence, he is the vital essence of illumination.
