Details

This retreat is an invitation to step out of the pace of everyday life and into a slower, more intentional rhythm with two experienced teachers and hosts. Explore the magic of Sri Lanka while going deep into your own spiritual and yogic study, so that you can return home with a sense of true rest and conviction in your sadhana. Equal parts immersive spiritual practice and meaningful travel experience, it offers a rare opportunity to deeply reconnect with yourself while exploring a lesser-travelled corner of Sri Lanka. Be taken care of from the moment you arrive at Colombo Airport as you journey down Sri Lanka’s lush coastal highway toward the quiet beauty of Dondra and its small fishing villages. Far from the usual tourist trail, you’ll be welcomed into a private tropical sanctuary where the jungle meets the Indian Ocean. A place designed for deep rest, practice, and connection within an intimate retreat setting.

Our main retreat venue is The Nook — a place to both nurture and fuel your soul. It offers stillness and quiet far from the tourist noise. Born from one Australian family’s dream to create a tropical home for travellers and tucked away in a small fishing village beside Wawwa Cove Beach near Dondra, the retreat space offers a more intimate side of Sri Lanka while still within reach of nearby beaches, surf towns and cafés. Here, 7 retreat rooms with private patios are centred around lush gardens and a tranquil pool. The Nook is best suited for those seeking a more premium retreat experience, with luxury surroundings, comfort and spaciousness woven into their stay. The newly built open-air yoga shala, nourishing plant-based meals and the slower rhythm of coastal village life create the perfect atmosphere for our Yog Sadhana gathering together.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for two weeks that have been absolutely amazing. Bobbi and Simon are two beautiful people, both inside and out, and it shows in everything you do. This retreat has truly given me memories for life, and experiences that I will carry with me for a long time.

Britt, Norway

I am returning home with a deep sense of gratitude, peace and inspiration. This is an experience that has truly left its mark on me, and I would very much like to join you on another trip.

Carolyn, Wales

Everyone was so well cared for throughout the retreat. Bobbi and Simon are both excellent yoga teachers, and Bobbi is a truly gifted spiritual teacher who shares her wisdom with great clarity and warmth. Her satsangs were especially meaningful and deeply enriching.

Jackie, Ireland

I would highly recommend attending a retreat with Bobbi and Simon. The schedule was thoughtfully crafted, with a wonderful variety to suit everyone. Nothing was mandatory, allowing you the freedom to join in activities or take time for yourself when needed.

Caroline, Ireland

Bobbi’s capacity to hold space during the retreat was unmatched. Her authenticity, depth of experience, and brilliance created a container that felt both grounded and expansive. I felt completely held and supported throughout. Her resourcefulness and organization made everything flow with such ease, allowing me to fully surrender into the experience. I trusted her wholeheartedly, and that trust was continuously affirmed. This retreat was truly special because of who Bobbi is.

Chalynn, Canada

This retreat gave me something I didn’t even know I needed - a joyous appreciation of the way yoga intersects with culture, nature and adventure. I am exhausted in the very best way possible from having my soul filled with beauty and connection. Bobbi and Simon are definitely two saints walking amongst us showing patience, generosity, authenticity and abundant enthusiasm for life itself. I can’t wait to go again!

Yarmilla, Australia

This was so much more than just a yoga retreat! Although the yoga training was fantastic and exactly what I was hoping for, I got so much more depth to my meditation practice and my understanding of my oneness and my unchangingness to the point that I feel a much more stable connection to that understanding and a greater willingness to sit in stillness each day. That's the greatest gift! And on top of all of that, our experiences in nature and with our insanely delicious food, it makes me want to continue the health of my body and the planet now that I'm back in my regular environment. Wonderful experience, wonderful people that I will cherish going forward! (and will definitely be following bobbi for future trainings!!)

Toni, United States

This adventure greatly exceeded my expectations! It was stimulating not only physically and spiritually, but the amazing beauty of the Himachal region was breathtaking. Looking back at the trip, it was packed with experiences and companionship that have charges my batteries for a long time. If I get the chance, I would definitely sign up for another retreat organized by Bobbi and Simon!

Kristoffer, Norway

I knew that this journey would be life changing, and it did! To meet India with all its beauty and contrasts was amazing. In the group we became as a family traveling together both to places and inside of us. Yoga every morning in the beautiful yoga shalas gave me a new dimension in my yoga life. Bobbi and Simon guided us during this whole journey in a lovely, safe and embracing way. So generous and caring of everyone. And we had so much fun and laughter together all of us
