Details
What does it mean to meet our lives without turning away? In this retreat, we explore the Four Noble Truths as a direct and practical path of freedom. We’ll look closely at how suffering and dissatisfaction show up in everyday experience, how habits of reactivity and grasping take hold, and what becomes possible when they are understood rather than followed. Grounded in the heart practices of lovingkindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity, this is a training in how we meet each moment. Through meditation, reflection, and gentle guidance, we cultivate the conditions for letting go, greater ease, and the possibility of freedom. No prior experience is required, only a willingness to be present and begin again. The retreat includes sitting and walking meditation, Dharma talks, movement practice, and group meetings with the teachers. This retreat is silent except for teacher-led Q&A, small groups, or other practice meetings.
