"Trails and Tranquility: An Alpine Yoga and Hiking Retreat" Looking for the perfect way to spend the May 1st holidays? Journey with us to the breathtaking Austrian Alps this spring and join us in Mondsee for "Trails and Tranquility: An Alpine Yoga and Hiking Retreat." A retreat that balances physical activity and a mental break. Surrounded by tranquil lakes and alpine beauty, this experience is designed to refresh your body and mind at the start of spring. Your Stay You’ll be staying in a luxurious hotel with a rich history, once a monastery, now transformed into a haven of comfort and elegance. Each day begins and ends surrounded by timeless architecture, exquisite cuisine, and a sense of calm that only centuries-old walls can provide. The hotel features a spa, a small pool, 3 different restaurants with vegetarian options available, and inviting spaces to unwind, making it the ideal setting for rejuvenation. Yoga for Every Mood During your stay, you will have the opportunity to practice yoga twice a day, taught by certified Yoga Teachers, a Yoga Therapist (Vlad), and a Sound Healer (Chris): • Start your mornings with energizing yoga sessions that awaken your senses and prepare you for the day ahead. Combining dynamic poses, breathwork, and stretches, these classes are designed to awaken and energize. • In the evenings, wind down with calming yoga classes, blending gentle movements, soothing breath exercises, and meditative practices. •As an additional (re)treat, Chris offers individual or couple restorative “Sound Healing” sessions, allowing the vibrations to bring you deeper into relaxation and balance, whereas Vlad offers “Asana Clinic” - individual sessions to support the students who want to explore more challenging poses or explore personalized modifications to deepen their practice. Wander Outside or Inside – Your Choice Afternoons offer two options: (1) explore alpine trails on guided hikes with stunning lake views. In case of bad weather, an excursion to Salzburg is available, with highlights like Mozart’s birthplace and traditional Austrian strudel. (2) Alternatively, relax in the spa or stroll along the lakeside. Whether you have previous yoga experience or not, or you come to reconnect with your body, explore the outdoors, or simply find peace in a historic and beautiful setting, "Trails and Tranquility" is your invitation to experience to kick-off your Spring in the heart of the Austrian Alps.
