Details

What if you didn't come to this retreat to become a better version of yourself? What if you came simply to rest, receive, and remember what it feels like to be taken care of? Restoration is an intimate women's retreat in the Spanish countryside for only 7 women who have spent years caring, giving, working, achieving, and holding everything together — and are ready to create space for themselves again. Over six nourishing days, we'll slow down and reconnect through: -Time immersed in nature -Meaningful connection with other women -Creative expression and sound therapy -Gentle somatic practices and embodied awareness -Beautiful, nourishing food -Local Spanish experiences -Time to rest, wander, and stargaze -Plenty of laughter and unstructured time At the heart of the retreat is Yin Building — the practice of intentionally replenishing what we continually give away. This isn't a retreat about fixing yourself. There is no transformation you need to achieve and no version of yourself you need to become. Instead, we'll create a space where you can slow down enough to hear yourself again, receive without guilt, create without needing to be productive, and experience the quiet pleasure of being cared for. You can come alone. In fact, many women will. You'll be welcomed into a small curated group of women from different places and backgrounds, with plenty of opportunities for connection — and just as much permission for solitude. Come for the mountains, the food, the creativity, the laughter, and the stillness. Leave with a little more of yourself than you arrived with. Women only · All private rooms · Small group · 5 nights · Spain

Our retreat will take place at a beautiful private rural estate in the heart of the Spanish countryside, surrounded by olive trees, open skies, mountains, and a peaceful natural lagoon. Fuente Taray is a lovingly cared-for rural property where traditional Spanish character meets comfort and thoughtful hospitality. The grounds invite you to slow down naturally: wander beneath the olive trees, sit by the water, enjoy the views, take a quiet walk, or simply find a beautiful place to soak up the sun. Accommodation is arranged in charming rural one-bedroom apartments arranged around a central cobblestone courtyard, creating a lovely balance between having your own private space and feeling part of a small community. We’ll gather in beautiful shared spaces for meals, conversation and retreat activities, while your own room gives you somewhere peaceful to retreat to whenever you need quiet. This is a space designed to reduce your sensory overload. It is a place to breathe, wander, look up at the sky, listen to the birds, share long meals, and let the landscape do some of the work of slowing you down.

Food is central to the retreat experience. We’ll enjoy generous, beautifully prepared meals created by a private chef, with a focus on high-quality, locally grown and seasonal ingredients from the surrounding region, organic whenever possible. Our daily rhythm will include a leisurely brunch, a nourishing midday snack, and a beautiful sit-down dinner. Meals will be designed around the season and what is fresh and available locally, with plenty of variety and flavor. There are no fasting protocols, restrictive diets, or “wellness” food rules here. Instead, we’ll practice another form of Yin Building: slowing down enough to receive nourishment, savor it, enjoy it, and share it around the table with no rush. Dietary needs and allergies will be accommodated wherever possible with advance notice.

Schedule

Each day has a gentle rhythm rather than a packed schedule. Mornings begin slowly with optional practices such as gentle movement, Qigong, somatic flow, breathwork, or meditation, followed by a leisurely brunch. From there, each day unfolds differently. We may explore the surrounding landscape, take part in a creative art therapy session, gather for reflection at a women’s circle, enjoy a private massage, or experience the local culture through a tasting and hands-on Spanish cooking experience. We will also learn about the region’s olive oil, wine, and cheese production. There will always be plenty of space to wander among the olive trees, sit by the lagoon, read, rest, journal, or simply do nothing. Evenings leave room for connection and spontaneity, with nourishing shared dinners followed by gentle wind-down practices, sharing circles, meditation, or simply enjoying the evening together. The intention is not to fill every hour, but to create a beautiful balance between being guided and being free.

Testimonials

info

This week I've learned how important it is to stop, breathe, feel my body, relax, and take care of myself. Through simple exercises, I've been able to focus (which is hard for me), and over these past five days I've managed to do it—and I've surprised myself. Fabiola, thank you so much.

This week, I’ve been able to reconnect with everything I am and everything I used to practice—things I’d stopped doing because of the whirlwind of daily life and that condition called stress (which has us so trapped). I’ve asked myself again: What are 10, 30, or 45 minutes a day of self-care? What do they mean when we have a 24-hour day? What do they bring to me and those around me? Thank you, Fabiola, for these five days. I loved the experience—and it really exceeded my expectations.
