Details

Imagine arriving on Friday evening with the pace of your week still lingering in your body. The responsibilities, the constant planning, the mental lists, and the feeling that you’re always caring for someone else. Then something begins to shift. You settle into a cozy room prepared just for rest. After a nourishing meal, you gather in a softly lit space overlooking the peaceful Himalayan Institute campus as the sun begins to set, where blankets, bolsters, candlelight, and a quiet invitation to rest are waiting for you. Nothing to do. Nowhere to be. Nothing to achieve. Just space to receive. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be guided through gentle restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra meditation, journaling, and reflective practices that invite your nervous system to soften and gently reconnect you with yourself. Between sessions, you’ll have spacious free time to enjoy the beautiful 400-acre campus. You might sit beside the pond, visit the Tea Lounge, schedule a massage or wellness service, explore Moka Origins, reserve an optional private Yoga Nidra session, spend time in nature, read, journal, nap, or simply rest. There is no right way to experience the weekend. You are welcome to participate in as many or as few activities as you choose, allowing yourself to listen to what feels most supportive and nourishing in each moment. Spring Renewal isn’t about becoming a new or improved version of yourself. It’s an invitation to create enough space to hear yourself again, to notice what you may be ready to release, what you want to nurture, and what may already be quietly beginning to grow. Whether you’re completely new to yoga and meditation or have practiced for years, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are. No prior retreat, yoga, or meditation experience is needed. Just come as you are and allow yourself the space to rest, receive, and reconnect. Retreat Tuition Regular Retreat Tuition: $350 Early Bird Tuition: $301 (through January 31, 2027)

Meals provided

Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

Diets catered

Vegan · Vegetarian · Dairy-free · Gluten-free

Throughout the retreat, you’ll enjoy nourishing vegetarian meals thoughtfully prepared by the Himalayan Institute kitchen team. One of the most restorative parts of retreat life is allowing yourself to simply arrive and be cared for, without needing to plan, cook, clean, or make decisions about what’s for dinner. Meals are designed to support a relaxing retreat experience and include a variety of grains, legumes, vegetables, soups, salads, fresh fruit, homemade breads, and comforting dishes served buffet style. Breakfast typically includes hot cereals, fruit, yogurt, and tea or coffee. Lunch is the main meal of the day and often includes rice, lentil dishes, vegetables, soups, salads, and homemade breads. Dinner is generally lighter, with soups, fresh salads, and simple nourishing options. Guests will also have access to the campus Tea Lounge and Himalayan Café, which offer tea, coffee, chai, and light treats throughout the weekend. Many meals include gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options, though the kitchen may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Guests with severe allergies are welcome to bring supplemental food items if needed.

Schedule

The retreat schedule is intentionally spacious and supportive, offering a gentle balance of guided practices, rest, reflection, nature, and free time. Throughout the weekend, there will be opportunities for Yoga Nidra, restorative movement, journaling, reflection, and supportive connection, along with spacious breaks to enjoy the peaceful campus, walking trails, Tea Lounge, wellness services, or simply rest. Evenings are designed to help you deeply unwind through cozy candlelit Yoga Nidra practices and quiet reflection. Participation is always invitational rather than required. You are encouraged to listen to what you need throughout the weekend. You may choose to join every session, take a walk, schedule a massage or private Yoga Nidra session, spend time journaling, or simply rest. There is no one right way to experience the retreat. The schedule below is designed to give you a general sense of the weekend flow while still allowing room for presence, flexibility, and rest.

Testimonials

info

"I was skeptical, anxious, and nervous because I expected a commercialized yoga experience where I'd have to keep up. This retreat was not that. It was gentle, supportive, and welcoming. I'm now incorporating Yoga Nidra into my nightly routine, and I hope to join again next year."

Recharge & Restore Women’s Retreat Guest ● July 2026, USA

"The most meaningful part of the weekend was realizing I wasn't alone. Being surrounded by women carrying the same mental load reminded me of the difference between what we think we should do for everyone else and what we actually need for ourselves."

"I was surprised that I didn't transform on the first day, but that was exactly what I needed. Instead of instant gratification, I experienced small shifts that continue to stay with me long after the retreat ended."
