Details

Remembering Who We Are is an invitation to pause, slow down, and reconnect with what truly matters. Over four days, we'll step away from the constant movement of everyday life and enter a supportive environment where stillness, mindfulness, and Buddhist wisdom become the foundation for deep rest and genuine insight. This retreat is rooted in the Buddha's teachings while remaining accessible to anyone with an open and curious mind—whether you are completely new to meditation or already have an established practice. Rather than striving to become someone different, we'll explore what it means to meet ourselves with presence, kindness, and curiosity. Together we will cultivate mindfulness and wisdom through sitting and walking meditation, gentle yoga, Dhamma teachings, loving-kindness practice, mindful eating, and time immersed in the natural beauty of Tenerife. From Friday evening until Sunday morning, we will observe Noble Silence, creating the space to quiet the mind and deepen our awareness. With a maximum of only 13 participants, this retreat offers an intimate setting where personal guidance and the supportive environment of fellow practitioners can naturally unfold. This retreat is not about becoming someone else or fixing yourself. It is an invitation to pause, listen deeply, and remember the qualities that are already here. Beyond the days we spend together, the intention is to cultivate a way of practising that can continue to support you in everyday life. Through meditation and Buddhist teachings, we'll explore simple yet profound practices that invite greater awareness, kindness, and steadiness in the way we meet ourselves, others, and the changing conditions of life.
