Details

Eight days on the Yucatan coast where ancient Mayan wisdom meets modern somatic healing. Co-hosted by Erin Newman (shamanic practitioner, hypnosis/EFT specialist) and Marisa Skolky (somatic and expressive arts facilitator), this retreat is designed for women ready to release what they've been carrying and step into what's next. Sacred Mayan ceremonies (temazcal sweat lodge, cacao ceremony). Climb the ancient pyramid at Coba. Swim in cenotes, the underground sacred waters. Somatic practices and expressive arts to access what lives beyond words. Hypnosis and tapping to rewire subconscious pattern. Most rooms have their own plunge pools. Private chef. A circle of women who are healers, practitioners, and leaders in the somatic space. A beautiful and welcoming space for all women - we honor and celebrate diversity!

Location

Tulum, Mexico

La Veleta is a fast-growing neighborhood on the outskirts of Tulum known for its blend of jungle living, modern wellness culture, and laid-back bohemian atmosphere. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, the area is filled with boutique villas, yoga studios, cafés, coworking spaces, and holistic wellness offerings that attract travelers, digital nomads, and retreat seekers from around the world. While quieter than Tulum’s beachfront hotel zone, La Veleta still offers easy access to the region’s famous white-sand beaches, cenotes, and vibrant dining scene, making it a popular destination for those seeking both relaxation and connection to nature.

Schedule

This is a retreat designed for both transformation and restoration, with plenty of space for the lazy afternoon by the pool where the real integration happens. We know healing doesn't just happen in ceremony. It happens in the afternoon by the pool. The quiet morning with coffee. The cenote swim where you finally let go. So we've designed a schedule that honors both. Mornings: Intentional. Somatic work (tapping, hypnosis, breathwork, expressive arts). Mayan ceremonies (temazcal sweat lodge, cacao ceremony). Sacred site visits (climbing the ancient pyramid at Coba, swimming in cenotes). Afternoons: Spacious. Unscheduled. Yours. Pool time. Naps. Private plunge pool soaks. Reading. Nothing. This is where integration actually happens,. Evenings: Flexible. Sometimes we gather for expressive arts or ceremony. Sometimes it's just good food, good conversation, and early sleep. We're not here to fill every moment. We're here to create the space for you to finally unfold.
