This is the Stotra - ode, praise, or praise anthem. It represents a literary genre of Indian texts designed to be sung melodically. It is dedicated to the 8 Forms or Manifestations of the Divine Female frequency Lakshmi, the goddess of the abundance, prosperity, beauty, and generosity. When we chant for Mahalakshmi we invoke this state of consciousness where we feel blessed and always supported in our needs. This is the real manifestation of prosperity in life - to feel full of what is necessary to accomplish our goal on this plane. Singing for MahaLakshmi has helped Prem dissolve the fear of scarcity and lack of trust in the generous flows of giving and receiving that life brings us, when we can trust and deliver the fruits of our actions to the divinity present in everyone, everywhere. Using this mantra for meditation strengthens this connection with our purpose and the ability to surrender to the flow of divine grace.
