Mirror Meditation This short meditation is meant to be done standing or sitting in front of a mirror,
Ideally in soft natural light.
You can do it at the start of your day or in the quiet moment of transition.
It's a practice of presence,
Not perfection.
Take a moment to land.
Let your feet touch the ground.
Let your hands rest softly by your sides or in your lap.
Close your eyes and just breathe.
Inhale gently.
Exhale gently.
Let yourself arrive.
Open your eyes and look into the mirror.
Notice what you see but don't rush to define it.
No labels,
No judgment,
Just witness.
Now soften your gaze,
Not to blur what you see but to receive it more kindly.
This woman right here is becoming.
She is not a before.
She is not an after.
She is a moment of radiance unfolding in real time.
Let your eyes move to your hair,
Whether grey,
Silver,
White,
Streaked or changing.
This is not aging.
This is your crown of truth.
Place a hand over your heart and repeat softly to yourself.
I am not hiding anymore.
I am ready to be seen.
My silver is sacred.
I honour who I am.
And who I am becoming.
And again.
I am not hiding anymore.
I am ready to be seen.
My silver is sacred.
I honour who I am.
And who I am becoming.
Take one more deep breath.
Look into your own eyes and smile.
You have come so far and you are just beginning.
Thank you for showing up for you today.
You are not fading.
You are rising.
And your radiance is medicine.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Give yourself a hug.
Put a smile on your lips.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
