"Where Did The Time Go" was composed by Neil Tatar as a deeply personal expression of conversations he had with his mother as she fondly reflected on her lifetime of memories. Composing and performing on piano, Neil's playing piano with his left hand offers an interpretation of his own voice, while the right hand represents his mother's words. It is a heart touching expression of conversations had between mother and son as she approached the end of life. Grammy award winning artist David Darling added his cello to the duet, and the composition became the title track of this multiple award winning album.

I loved the beautiful music, but the cello reminded me of my mood today. Disappointment.

Wow! I’m so glad to discover this. I was dancing around the living room .At first the combo of cello and piano was melancholy… thinking about the end of life . I wasn’t as fortunate as some to see my mom and dad grow very old.. they passed rather young and was young too. I thought of them,my journey in life and my two beautiful daughters as this played . And then I interpreted the song in dance .. feeling as if I was 6 years old! Thank you 🙏 I love how you help others with your music. You’re an inspiration! I sing and play blues harp .. jyy it at starting to learn piano (keys) hey! We’re never too old right?! Much appreciated. 🎵💜

I let this roll while I allowed myself 5 minutes to remember my amazing late husband, The Big Bear, who died 19 years ago today, at age 47. So many beautiful and happy images from our tragically short time together, all rolling through my mind as the tears rolled from my eyes and the sadness and longing caught in my throat. The music bound it all together. Maybe back to actual mindfulness meditation tomorrow. Thank you again, Neil, for this music.
