As we get closer to finishing January of 2022,
We are under some of the most powerful astrological enlightments in the sky.
In this case,
We're talking about the retrograde of Venus,
Which in astrology is the planet of love,
Pleasure,
Social interactions,
Money,
And personal values.
Venus went retrograde back on December 19 of 2021.
And ever since then,
Everyone has been dealing with issues around relationships,
Communication within relationships,
Money,
Also success,
Power,
Career.
And so this retrograde of Venus has been extremely powerful,
Especially because it was present as we welcomed the new year.
Everyone regardless of their sun sign has been feeling this retrograde because Venus is a planet that is very close to us.
And so everything that Venus does really affects us here on earth.
Specifically,
Taurus and Libra are some of the signs that have been feeling this the most along with Capricorn.
This retrograde has been happening in Capricorn and so it has been activating the presence of Pluto,
Which is the planet of power,
Rebirth.
And so we have also been dealing with Capricornian themes of success,
Power.
Why do we do what we do?
Are we working ourselves too much or are we obsessed with power and also power dynamics within relationships,
Both in career as well as in our personal relationships?
It's been an intense ride.
It's been six weeks of really diving deep into the deepest corners of our psyche to really figure out how to move forward in 2022.
So even though we are almost at the end of the first month of this year,
There is a theme of continuing some of the things that came up for us in 2021.
And so some astrologers are seeing the real beginning of 2022 once February arrives because of these Venus retrograde.
So if you've been feeling intense during January,
This has been the reason why Venus retrograde and also Mercury has been retrograde as well,
Not for the entirety of this time.
Mercury went retrograde on January 14th,
But because we don't usually have two natal planets,
Which are Mercury and Venus retrograde at the same time,
The cosmos has really been pushing us and challenging us to see things from a different perspective.
And during this last week of January,
This energy peaks.
And so this is a crucial moment along our journey of integrating the learnings of both Venus and Mercury retrograde.
Mercury will stay retrograde until February 3rd.
However,
The good news is that Venus goes direct on Saturday,
The 29th.
And so once this happens,
We will begin to integrate all these learnings.
And we've had a lot.
We've had a lot.
We've learned a lot.
This Venus retrograde has taught us a lot the way it always does.
This is a retrograde that occurs every 18 months on the dot.
And so these Venus retrograde had a specific energetic signature due to its close proximity to Pluto.
The planet of power,
Sex and rebirth.
By unearthing things of jealousy and control,
This Venus retrograde helped us see what we need to change in order for our interactions to be more authentic and honest.
Asteroid Juno,
The goddess of marriage,
Also played an important role.
This involvement helped us see how important it is to stay true to our values when we commit to another person.
Juno opened our eyes to the fact that the yearning for commitment should never eclipse our need to feel seen and respected in our relationship.
Since these Venus retrograde happened in Capricorn,
An earth and ambitious zodiac sign that focuses on ambition,
Work and career,
We also learned a lot in this department.
We were forced to dive deeply into our motives and the real reasons why we do what we do.
Are we overworking ourselves?
What does success really mean to us?
Does our career bring us joy?
And most importantly,
Is the way we make money even in line with our true passion?
While these are all really serious manifestations of this retrograde,
They were sure real.
And we should see them as gifts.
Because ultimately,
Venus is one of the nicest planets in astrology.
Venus is called a benefic planet,
Which in the end,
Really help us grow and really helps us evolve our perspective of everything that Venus rules.
Regardless of the nature of our own personal Venus retrograde story that has been developing since January 19,
There are two powerful post retrograde dates that can help us steer the boat in the right direction.
From February 16 to February 18,
Venus will meet with Mars in Capricorn.
This is an incredibly powerful time for a new beginning.
So everything that perhaps was destroyed or changed or morphed into something else during the Venus retrograde can have a new beginning.
Everyone will experience a new beginning.
And so if something ended up for you during Venus retrograde,
Make peace with it and let it go.
Because there is something better on the horizon.
And on March 3,
Venus and Mars will meet with Pluto,
Bringing an incredible time to take our power back.
This is especially true if Venus unearthed something that was underlaying in a relationship for too long and that was previously swept under the rug.
This can be applied to all kinds of relationships,
But also career.
And the changes we need to make in order to feel more fulfilled in these areas of our life are bound to start coming up to the surface starting the beginning of January and moving into the next few months.
