I hope that this song tugs on your heartstrings, and opens your soul up just a little more to whatever life is bringing you right now. If it's grief, let yourself weep and if it's a deep sense of presence, let yourself soak it in without a need to be anywhere else but here and now. May you find calm and comfort while taking in these musical frequencies. I recently lost a dear friend in a fatal car accident. I never in a million years thought that one day she just wouldn't be here in this reality anymore. The way I began to process this loss is through creating this track. She would always lift me and champion me in my music career, and so this one's for Melissa. The thunderstorm you hear was happening during the recording session, and it sounded like heaven crying.
