This piece was inspired by the contemplative piano pieces of French impressionist composer Erik Satie and is part of an entire album featuring Satie's music (The Silent Side of Satie). Praful composed Fatopienne No. 2 and plays the tenor sax, accompanied by French harpist Helvia Briggen on the electric harp. Classical Music meets and melts with meditation, jazz, and improvisation.
