Sirenas (Mermaids)

This track is from our last CD "Ecstatic Voices". We put its name, Sirenas, after the song was completed, since it has this flowing and soothing rhythm that reminds us of the sea, plus the three female voices that lead the song in a repetitive and enchanting way.

Another haunting, ethereal piece from a group I am glad to have discovered via IT. What I love most about their work is the way it evokes states that cannot be expressed in words. (At least i can’t find words for them.) In this way they help in turning off the rational/language-making part of the brain and opening up to other parts.
