You’re welcome to use this mindfulness practice when you are feeling isolated due to T1D, for example maybe after some type of physical or mental pain, or wishing that your body could function on its own. This practice involves focusing kind phrases towards yourself and then expanding those intentions out to others in the T1D community. Life with a chronic health condition can feel incredibly isolating; and it’s important to remember you are not alone in your T1D experiences.
