Meditation Timer OnlineAs a highly empathic, intuitive child, Melissa Kim Corter was fascinated with other people’s basements. Dark, unexplored spaces enthralled her, and her insatiable curiosity toward the hidden dimensions of the mind led to decades of exploring the shadow dynamics within the human psyche and in nature. For over 20 years, Melissa conducted thousands of hours of personal and group mentoring sessions, gaining insight into the nuanced ways individuals experience the soul and fear the inner depths. Her work sometimes makes people uncomfortable. It asks us to explore the hidden, unknown dimensions of self and to tend to it. This expands our capacity to be with opposing tensions while humbling us as we move with it through the unknown. Melissa believes a one-sided affinity for the light creates further fragmentation and widens the gap between soul and matter. She utilizes creative and symbolic forms such as film, fairy tales, and creative writing to reveal psychological patterns and hidden potentials. Melissa is a Depth Psychologist and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Jungian Archetypal studies through Pacifica Graduate Institute.
