What Your Body Is Trying To Tell You

With Rianne Wolswinkel

Your body is always communicating with you. Symptoms, tension, pain and that restless feeling you can't quite name, these are all signals. The question is whether you've had the space to hear them. This series is an invitation to start listening again, without it becoming another thing on your list. Over six short sessions you move gradually from understanding into feeling, from thinking about the body into actually being in it. Each session combines a little teaching with a guided practice, and most of them are under ten minutes, so they should be able to fit in your day. You'll work with what it means to feel. The breath, as your most honest signal and rest as something you choose rather than collapse into. Ending with how to carry one small thing forward into your life. You don't need a yoga mat, a quiet house, or any prior experience. Just a willingness to pause for a few minutes and curiously notice what's there. What you'll explore: Session 1: Your body is not the enemy Session 2: Learning to feel Session 3: The breath knows first Session 4: A moment to arrive Session 5: Rest is not doing nothing Session 6: One small thing

Lesson 1

Your Body Is Not The Enemy

In this first session we explore the idea that symptoms, tension, and pain are not signs that your body is failing you, but signals asking for your attention. A short body awareness practice invites you to notice what's present without immediately trying to change it.

Lesson 2

Learning To Feel

This session looks at how and why so many of us lost touch with our body's signals, and what it actually means to start feeling again. A slow body scan guides you from your feet upward, inviting you to sense each area without judgment or needing to change something.

Lesson 3

The Breath Knows First

The breath is the most honest and immediate signal your body has, and it's always available. This session explores simply feeling the breath, without controlling it, followed by a breath awareness practice that invites observation rather than intervention.

Lesson 4

A Moment To Arrive

A short practice without any teaching. Just a few minutes to arrive in your body wherever you are right now, whether you are lying down, sitting or standing. Using the hands, feet, and breath as anchors for presence.

Lesson 5

Rest Is Not Doing Nothing

This session explores why so many of us find it difficult to stop, and what happens in the body when we finally do. A supported restorative rest practice gives the nervous system a chance to shift into a state where real recovery becomes possible.

Lesson 6

One Small Thing

In this closing session we look at how to keep the thread alive after the series ends, without turning it into another obligation. A final practice invites you to bring your attention to one place in your body that needs it today, and to leave with something small and genuinely doable.
