For some of us, the festive season can be extremely overwhelming. On top of the usual stressors of everyday life, we now have to manage the additional obligations, commitments, expenses, social interactions, and changes in routine that are all but forced upon us. This course will give you strategies to plan and prioritize your commitments, self-care ideas to rest and recover post-event, as well as stay regulated. You will learn a collection of mindfulness, calm breathing, present state awareness, and loving-kindness meditations aimed at helping you not only survive but thrive. You will be introduced to some basic shadow work and inner child practices to manage any emotionality and inner responses that arise and encouraged to explore your inner state with an attitude of self-acceptance. You will be given the confidence to set boundaries and say no to what will detract from you, thus giving you the inner space and energy to say yes to what will bring you happiness. It’s time to reclaim the childhood joy we once felt for the festive season, but in a way that is balanced against our personalities, desires, capabilities, and capacities as an adult.
