This course provides a practical toolkit for managing stress. In our first lesson, you'll learn the Grounding Grip, a physical tool that uses gentle pressure and focused breathing to anchor you in the present moment, shifting your attention away from overwhelming thoughts. It's a discreet technique you can use anywhere to quickly restore a sense of calm. The second lesson introduces the Worry Balloon Release, a guided visualization that helps you gently detach from anxious thoughts. By imagining your worries inside a balloon and watching it float away, you create a sense of mental space and distance from your stress. Both tools are designed to be effective and easy to integrate into your life, offering you a reliable way to regain your center and manage difficult moments with greater ease. A guided practice is included in each lesson.


Meet your Teacher

Alice Langholt is a parent, author and Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified Practitioner of EFT and Introspective Hypnosis. She is the Executive Director of Reiki Awakening Academy. Alice has a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Parapsychology, and Master’s degrees in Jewish Studies and Metaphysical Science. She has written 23 books on holistic subjects. In the Washington, DC Metro area, Alice teaches Animal Reiki at Montgomery College, has a Reiki practice in Gaithersburg, MD, and is also a wedding officiant.
